Carolyn Ann Cook passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 from complications following surgery.
Born in Borger Texas on March 3, 1939 to Robert Wilson and Billie Louise Tevebaugh, Carolyn was always a Texas girl at heart.
She was raised in Claude, Texas on her family farm. In her early adult life she travelled the world with her family as an Air Force spouse. The military experience allowed her to see the Orient and over time and many different deployments eventually landed her in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She settled into her home in Shalimar in 1977 and has lived there until her passing. She found great joy in traveling, dancing and spending time with friends and family.
She is survived by her loving brother Robert Glenn Tevebaugh and his family; her four children, Brenda Lynn Bragassa, Terri Lee Curtis, Bret Allen Cook, Troy Glenn Cook and their families. She was blessed with 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
It was Carolyn's wish to not have a funeral, but instead to have her ashes returned to Claude, Texas where she will be placed to rest next to her parents at the family plot. A graveside memorial service will be held at a future date yet to be determined.
In lieu of flowers it was Carolyns wish that you make a donation to the Wounded Warriors Project in her honor.
