Steve Glenn Goodwin, age 56, went to be with his Lord and Savior in the early morning hours of Saturday, February 2nd, 2019. He was surrounded by his family and friends when he passed peacefully in the arms of his wife, Betty.
Steve spent his years working hard as a shrimper and heavy equipment operator. He worked for Sasser Bro. and Devin Jones. He loved to fish and Alabama football but his favorite thing was his family. He loved spending his days with his loving wife, Betty, and all their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Earl Goodwin. He is survived by his wife, Betty Goodwin, mother; Margaret Goodwin, four siblings; Eddie, Heidi, Sherrie and Mike, his children; Kristen, Leah, Elizabeth, Rise, Karen, Diane and Glenn, as well as 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Steve will be dearly and forever missed by his family and friends, though we are happy he has went to meet God in heaven above, to always look out for us all.
