Linnaeus Robertson (Rob) McGee, Jr
Crestview - Linnaeus Robertson (Rob) McGee, Jr, also known as Sparky, lost his battle with Lung Cancer on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. He was born on October 6, 1960 in Queens, New York to Linn and Kay McGee. Both parents being in the Navy he lived in several places over his lifetime. From one Naval installation to the next, from Queens, NY to San Jose, CA to Ozark, MO. When his parents finally retired the family moved to Crestview, Fl where they remained. Rob enjoyed working as an Electrician for more than 30 years. And had been a member of the Almarante Fire Dept of Laurel Hill, Fl.
He was proceeded in death by his mother, Kay; father, Linn; and brother Rick McGee.
He is survived by his two daughters Samantha Dockery and her husband Doug of Crestview, fl; daughter, Nicole McGee also of Crestview. The girls gave him eight grandchildren who he loved dearly. A half-sister Lynn Fleming and her husband of Connecticut; cousin Glenna Sanders Davolt and her husband Bill of Tucson, AZ; nieces, nephews, and numerous other cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Information will be publicized when arrangements have been made.
