Mrs. Phyllis Audry Anderson Bohon, age 94, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020. She was born March 19, 1926 in Paxton, Florida to Thomas and Mary McDonald Anderson.

Phyllis lived a long, independent life and enjoyed daily telephone conversations with her family and friends. She had an impeccable memory of the history of DeFuniak Springs and its people.

Mrs. Bohon was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harry H. Bohon, her brothers; Tom Anderson, Mac Anderson, Bill Anderson, and twin brother Philip Anderson.

Mrs. Bohon is survived by her son, Richard H (Bo) Bohon and wife Khorlan and granddaughters Tamila Amanzholova and Kerra Jones; nephews and nieces; Buck Anderson and wife Carlene, Phil Anderson and wife Faith, Karen Vaughan and husband Don, Curt Anderson and wife Valarie, Charlie Anderson and wife Maribel, Brenda Rees and husband Lane Rees and Walter (Buddy) Anderson and wife Afshan; sisters-in-law, Jean Anderson, Gloria Hollingsworth and Janie Bohon Fetter. Also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Magnolia Cemetery, with Reverend Joel Glenn officiating.

Pallbearers will be Curt Anderson, Phil Anderson, Charlie Anderson, Alan Rutherford, Mike Richards, and Gordan Brock.

Flowers are being accepted or donations may be made to the Alaqua Animal Refuge at 914 Whitfield Road, Freeport, Florida 32439.
